I have four Paidar chairs manufactured January 19, 1939. If they are similar, pull up the bottom seat cushion. You should find the cap for adding hydraulic fluid and the serial number stamped on it. On my chairs there are “operating instructions” stapled to the bottom of the cushion with the date of manufacture, moving instructions, and the “Factory number” which is the same as the serial number. Hope this helps.
