So my question is how much oil do i put in the cylylinder to get it functioning again cuz I dont want to over fill and need to allow for putting the seat apparatus back….thanks

Managed to fix one which had a “recline sliding shaft problem. The other was more of an issue and ended up being a stuck piston, due to locking block. Very lucky I was able to free piston, in the first place. Questions : are the lock blocks supposed to have a hard plastic like surface on the contact side, or did someone add a two part adhesive in the past? Also, is it possible to install the brake block without a snap ring? No snap ring present when disassembled? additionaly, where can I find a replacement brake? Thank you, Jimmy
