Louis Hanson Barber Chair

This is an Antique Louis Hanson Company Hydraulic Barber Chair. This chair has one lever hydraulic system to allow the chair to rise and swivel, or lock in place. A reclining operation was built in to provide ease of shaving the customer back in the day. The dark brown leather is in very good condition with no rips or tears. The porcelain base is in good condition (a few chips) even after all the years of operation. This chair has been in our family for several years. It was originally great grandpas dentist chair and most recently was being used in a home hair salon. After all these years, the hydraulics still work great! This chair does not includes the original headrest, it was taken off when the chair was being used for a barber chair and was lost in a move.

Local pickup ONLY – item is located in Twin Lakes, WI – a little over an hour north of Chicago. Buyer is responsible for arranging pickup of item. If this item needs to be shipped, we will assist in preparing the chair for shipment.
